I DOs - aftermath (xiv)

I was blowing my hair with the hair dryer and within the noise i thought i heard him say, "sayang, mana baju lumberjack?".

I looked over. He was standing in front of the cupboard, with one hand on the door handle and the other rummaging his wardrobe. The hair dryer was still on, so i asked, "apa sayang?".

Searching through, he shouted over the loud buzzing blower, "baju lumberjack saya kat mana?".

I couldn't really make out his words. "What? Lumberjack?". "Lumberjack ke?", I asked while trying to get this stubborn hair of mine back into a presentable shape.

"Iya...! kat mana baju lumberjack saya?". He then moved to the dressing area to slap on some deodorant.

Baju Lumberjack is actually one of his favorite shirts. A maroon blended white checkered shirt with two front pockets that he says, something a lumberjack would have on every single day of his life.

"Ada kat dalam almari tu, cuba cari betul-betul". I told him as here onward, I was trying to untangle my hair that somehow managed to lock itself around the brush.

"Takde pun...." said him as he was done with his perfume and staring back at the wardrobe shelves.

Finally, I turned to him and said. "Kalau tak de kat situ, cuba cari kat hanging closet tu. Ada kat sana kot".

Ajoi then slowly made his way to the other room, as he stepped out, I continued to complete the purpose in hand. Of course every women's hair have their own minds. You want it to be like an advertisement from Vidal Sassoon, it went ahead proudly looking like ekor kuda. After 20 minutes of battle, it got the better of me and so, I surrendered.

I then made my way to the dressing area and when passing through the wide opened bedroom door, from the corner of my eyes, I found Ajoi quietly looking out the window. Like a statuette still in his boxers, he was at his usual spot trying to catch a glimpse of any of his favorite cars that were moving about the busy highway.

Dismayed I was, when I finally discovered the mess he left. The once neatly folded stacked garments were no more.. But then again, the memories came back. Definitely a familiar sight by now. Oh well.

I tried to arrange back what I can, as the hair drying took five minutes more than intended, plus the fact that there were still some dishes left to be washed in the sink and the bed still has to be made- I decided to make it a quick one.
One by one, back to its place - when the sight came.

"Sayang... ni kan ada kat sini..."

After about ten seconds, he walked back into the bedroom.

"Apa dia?", asked Ajoi.

"Ni lumberjack. Tapi kasi I gosok kejap dulu. Dah komot jadi nyer."

"Eh tak payah la sayang".

I insisted and walked over to the ironing board.

I never really understood why everytime he tried to look for something, he would end up not finding it. Maybe its just a common trait that some men share. Nonetheless, Ajoi is now a happy camper. He got his freshly pressed lumberjack shirt, and I got one more task added to my daily routine.
Susun balik baju-baju yang dah berselerak tu.. erk~ =p

p/s: Ajoi said, "u forgot to write I saved your hair. Rambut awak dah tersimpul tau tadi.."
p/p/s: Ok sayang, yes you helped me untangle my hair =)

I DOs - aftermath (xiii)

Nora : Ok sayang, what if they come to you and say, "Sir, we'll give you this Aventador, if you surrender to us your Cayenne.

Ajoi: hmmm.. saya ambik kereta tu, pastu saya jual, then saya beli rumah.

Nora: Ok. What if they say, "Sir, we'll give this Aventador to you only if you surrender your 911.

Ajoi: wwhhhhoooooaaaaaaa!!! mana leh! mana ada lagi dah brand new 993.. Nak cari second hand in good condition pun dah tak dapat dah!! Giler susah nak jumpa!

Nora: Ok..ok! Alright, alright.. But what if then, they say, "Sir, we'll give this Aventador to you, if you let your wife go for a 2 months holiday in Europe- alone. Full board package, everything paid for! You don't have to fork out a single thing.."

Ajoi: hmmmmm... (followed by 5 seconds of silence)

Ajoi: Ok. Dah dapat kereta nanti, I drive down to Europe... Kejap je nak sampai tu.

I left my phone at home today..
Before, I would most probably turn the car around, drive back, open the gate, unlock the door, take off the shoes, throw my handbag on the couch, search for the phone- it was not at the usual place i left it at, spend a good 10 minutes looking for it, finds it, grab the phone, rush out, forgets to take my handbag, run back inside, couldn't find the handbag, quickly run upstairs but to no avail, sacrifice another 10 minutes searching for the missing handbag, finally finds it on the floor at the side of the sofa (where it accidentally fell when i threw it earlier), dash out the door, wear my shoes, lock the door, into the car, out the driveway, close the gate, and back on-route to earlier destination. phew~

Now, I just leave it be.
I think the people that are looking for me, will know to call my office or message me on facebook or email me or just drop a text message or a voicemail on my mobile number. They know I'll get back to them soon as I can.
For some, they just call ajoi... as 99% of the time. I am never 5 minutes away from him =)
