Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten - U.S. Video Version
I am unwritten,
Can't read my mind
I'm undefined
I'm just beginning
The pen's in my hand
Ending unplanned
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten, yeah
Oh, oh
I break tradition
Sometimes my tries
Are outside the lines, oh yeah yeah
We've been conditioned
To not make mistakes
But I can't live that way oh, oh
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
drench yourself in words unspoken
live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
the rest still unwritten
(Gospel)
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin

Jennifer Hudson - Spotlight
Note to self: Find at karaoke! heh.
Are you a man who loves and cherishes and cares for me?
Is that you? Is that you? Is that you? yeah
Are you a guard in a prison, maximum security?
Is that you? Is that you? Is that you? yeah
Do we stay home all the time cuz you want me to yourself?
Is that you? Is that you? Is that you? yeah
Or am I locked away, out of fear that I’d find someone else
Is that you? Is that you? Is that you? yeah
[Spotlight Lyrics On http://www.elyricsworld.com/ ]
Chorus:
Well, I don’t like living under your spotlight
Just because you think I might find somebody worthy oh oh oh
Well, I don’t like living under your spotlight
Baby if you treat me right, you won’t have to worry
Is this a relationship, fulfilling your needs as well as mine
Is that you? Is that you? Is that you? yeah
Or is this just my sentence, am I doing time?
Is that you? Is that you? Is that you? yeah
Oh If this is love, real, real love, then I’m staying no doubt
Is that you? Is that you? Is that you? yeah
But if I’m just loves prisoner, then I’m busting out
Is that you? Is that you? Is that you? yeah
(Chorus)
Oh, you oughta be ashamed of yourself
What the hell do you think you’re doing?
Loving me, loving me, so wrong
Baby, all I do is try
(Try)
To show you that you’re my (my) one and only guy (only guy)
No matter who may come along
Open your eyes cuz baby I don’t like
(Chorus x2)

Ajoi: kita tinggal sini je la sayang..
Nora: huh?! where did that come from?
Ajoi: bilik ofis ni kita buat jadi rumah kita
**lepas tu dia tukar nak duduk rumah atas tanah, pastu nak rumah condo sejuk tinggi-tinggi pula
apa-apa pun, saya ikut je =)

iron bars
We were minding our own business.
We were absorbing as much as we can.
We were trying to learn...
My mind was focused on a piece of paper that read some very important instructions when they were shifted to a subject that was looking for attention.
"Cik, encik, mintak tolong sekejap ye, sorry, sorry saya bukan nak buat kacau"
I looked at him, so did my husband and two other people there. With a pause and stunned looks, I asked, "yes?"
"Cik, maaf ye, maaf abang, maaf encik, saya datang sini pasal satu hal. Saya bukan mau buat kacau, saya cuma mintak, jangan pandang hina pada saya. saya hari ini akan jujur, saya akan cakap betul-betul, tolong jangan salah pandang saya.."

It might be an inappropriate thought but at that time I was thinking, "wow, that's a great opening, you will surely get everyone's attention; may it be what you're hoping for... or not"
One man got up .. and left.
"Ada apa encik?", I asked.
"Cik, saya tadi sudah pergi itu kedai, lepas tu saya sudah naik church sana itu, tapi cik, tolong saya. Saya mesti kena pergi ke Seremban tapi mereka tanak dengar cakap saya. Tolong cik, saya akan cakap jujur, betul-betul jujur.."
"Awak cari apa?", I probed a little more.
" Cik, abang..", while acknowledging my husband and another man there, "saya kena pergi ke seremban untuk jumpa pegawai saya, tolong cik, tolong jangan pandang hina saya, saya tak mahu buat macam ini, saya ada hati juga, saya cuba cakap dekat church itu pun mereka tak berapa faham saya cakap sebab saya tak pandai cakap cina, saya boleh cakap melayu... "
"saya kena pergi buat melapor kepada pegawai saya, saya pun rasa sangat sakit mahu mintak dari orang sebab saya tahu cik, saya memang tahu, it's your hard earned money..."
now, his english is not bad too. anyways...
"saya juga sudah cuba cik, takda orang mahu bagi saya kerja, saya orang yang keluar penjara, sapa mahu kasi saya kerja?. Saya mesti pergi lapor diri dekat pegawai saya dekat seremban lepas itu saya mahu ke kelantan cik, nak cuba cari kerja sana pulak, cik saya tak cukup RM16.80 saja, tolong cik, tolong jangan pandang saya tak elok cik..."
"berapa?", I asked again.
"RM16.80 cik, sorry cik, ini duit orang kerja kuat, saya tahu, saya faham kalau cik tanak kasi.."
I disappeared to the back and came back. "Siapa nama encik?".
He hesitated for a bit. I have no idea why he was shocked with that question, but after that he said, "Cik boleh panggil saya.. saya..Mr.Yau"
I held out my hand. He took it.
I salam him and gave him a pat on the back.
"Itu duit makan sekali. Goodluck Mr. Yau"
He smiled, then he stared at the floor.
He looked relieved.
"Terima kasih cik.. terima kasih"
That was when he walked out and the other guy asked me, "napa akak bagi?"
"hmmm.. ramadhan dah dekat"
~Then my husband belanja me nasi kandar yang sedap! syiok woooo!!
